Johanna's "HOT JOB" of February 2025: 36" Blower with 20 HP Baldor Motor

RW recently received a 36” blower equipped with a 20 HP Baldor motor for repair and reconditioning from a local aerospace company.

Upon arrival, the motor underwent an electrical test before we disassembled both the motor and the blower to thoroughly inspect all parts and components for any cracks or damage that required repair.

All parts were then cleaned and prepared for reassembly. We dynamically balanced the rotor and installed new bearings, seals, and a junction box in the motor. For the blower, a new fan shaft and blades were manufactured, dynamically balanced, and installed, along with new pillow block bearings and V-belts.

Finally, the motor was reinstalled on the blower, and a test run was conducted, which included a vibration and balance final test.
