Our July Job of the Month features this Garden City Fan with a 50 HP motor that was recently sent to us for reconditioning and repair from a local forging company.
All electrical components were tested for failures.
The fan was disassembled, inspected, and all parts were cleaned and prepped for reassembly.
The motor mounting plate and pulley guards were weld-repaired as needed.
A new fan shaft was machined and installed in the fan blade before dynamically balancing at 1200 RPM. New bearings, packing, and belts were installed on the fan. The motor needed a new junction box before being assembled on the fan for a final vibration/balance test.
