This month's 'Hot Job' is a recondition of a 100/125 HP Reliance DC motor. This motor was inspected and tested, and then disassembled, cleaned and prepped for our reconditioning process.
The armature was turned, undercut, dipped and baked. It was then ready for balancing.
Brushes, brush holders and springs were thoroughly cleaned and reinstalled.
After the armature was balanced, the motor was reassembled, went through our testing process and then was ready for a new paint job before being delivered back to our customer, ready for immediate use. Pictures above show the motor when it came in the door, during the reconditioning process and after final inspection, right before delivery.
