# Johanna's 'HOT JOB' of March 2024: New York Blower

The job of the month for March was a New York Blower that was sent to us from a local steel processing facility for repair and reconditioning.

The blower unit was disassembled, and inspected, and all parts were cleaned and prepped for reassembly. A new blower shaft was made, installed, and dynamically balanced before installing new bearings and assembling the unit. ![A30477 Pics](https://redmondwaltz.com/hs-fs/hubfs/A30477%20Pics.png?width=844&height=601&name=A30477%20Pics.png)
